Summer parties are coming to an end, but as fall begins the pomegranates have just come into season from late August to early January.
This martini packs powerful antidoxants and flavor. Not only could it lower your cholesterol and blood pressure , but may even slow the aging process.
The story behind my bartender Cheryl’s Pomegranate Martini is simple. In her words, ” I ordered a Pom Martini at a popular restaurant and I was hooked!”
So I will let Cheryl finish the story from here..
The Pom martini came into vogue several years ago. I studied how it was mad, double checked the ingredients and made a mental note.
If you don’t follow the recipe you run the risk of inconsistency. But when you make it are home , make it slow, shake it hard, and
enjoy!
Pomegranate Martini
2 oz of Citrus Flavored Vodka
1.5 ounce Pama Pomegranate liquor
1.5 ounce triple sec
3/4 oz Pomegranate juice ( optional )
Half an orange , Fresh
Or blood orange bitters for a less sweet taste
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, Add first four ingredients, shake hard. The pour into a chilled martini glass ( 60z )
Top off with a squeeze of that sweet orange.
